San Francisco, California · A WolfHaven sanctuary
RedWoofs Retreat
The San Francisco, California regional sanctuary of WolfHaven LLC, serving the San Francisco Bay Area and the Santa Cruz Mountains. Focus: animals of every kind — companion animals, farm animals and native wildlife — from the San Francisco Bay Area and the Santa Cruz Mountains.
I. Why here
The need in San Francisco.
Bay Area housing costs, breed restrictions and wildfire leave animals of every kind stranded: pets surrendered when families move, livestock from evacuated properties, wildlife from burned habitat. RedWoofs Retreat provides a calm forest setting for all of them, and pairs it with a technology-forward volunteer and sponsorship program suited to the region’s workforce.
