Rescue · Rehabilitation · Lifelong care
A home for theanimals nobody elsecan take.
WolfHaven is a nonprofit network of six regional sanctuaries, headquartered in Dallas, that rescues, rehabilitates and gives lifelong care to vulnerable and at-risk animals, and teaches the communities around them to protect what is wild.
I. The organization
Six sanctuaries. One promise.
Every WolfHaven site takes the animals its region cannot place: the injured, the orphaned, the elderly, the medically complex. Each is run for the species and the community around it, and each shares the same standards of care, the same mission and the same back office in Dallas.
6
Regional sanctuaries, each taking every kind of animal its region cannot place.

III. The model
Rescue is where it starts.
Four things happen at every WolfHaven sanctuary, in this order.
1
Rescue and rehabilitation
Intake, veterinary care and behavioral rehabilitation for animals that are injured, orphaned, surrendered or displaced, in coordination with local shelters and wildlife agencies.
2
Lifelong care
Permanent, naturalistic homes for animals that cannot be safely released or rehomed, with species-appropriate enrichment and ongoing veterinary oversight.
3
Education and outreach
School curricula, workshops, on-site and virtual tours and public seminars that teach animal behavior, habitat preservation and environmental stewardship.
4
Research and advocacy
Observation and research that inform best practice across the network, and advocacy for policies that protect animals and the places they live.
IV. Three ways in
Choose your path.
I
Volunteer
Animal care, facilities, events and outreach at any of our six sanctuaries, coordinated by a dedicated Volunteer Coordinator. Students, residents and corporate teams welcome.
II
Give
A one-time or monthly gift, a membership, or sponsorship of a specific animal or program. Individual donations are the core of how sanctuaries like ours are funded.
III
Partner
Shelters and wildlife agencies that need a place for an animal; employers who want sponsorship, cause-marketing or volunteer days; organizations seeking rehabilitation consulting.
V. Why it matters
The need is physical.
Habitat loss, human encroachment, the illegal wildlife trade and under-resourced shelters leave animals with nowhere to go. Public awareness remains limited, so the policies that would protect them do not get the backing they need.
VI. Who we are
A new network, run from Dallas.
WolfHaven LLC is headquartered in Dallas, Texas, with sanctuaries in Dallas, Tysons Corner, Atlanta, Houston, Salt Lake City and San Francisco. The organization is mission-aligned and volunteer-driven, with continuous learning, inclusion and strong volunteer coordination at the center of its culture.
VII. Begin
Found an animal that needs help?
Tell us where it is and what you saw. A person reads every report and passes it to the nearest sanctuary. If an animal is in immediate danger, call local animal control.
